My Life and Learning With Horses with Sheila Schils

Over a lifetime of working closely with horses, Sheila has learned not only the science of movement and healing, but also the quiet lessons that come from attention, patience, and care. She earned her doctorate in equine biomechanics and kinesiology, taught for 20 years in the equine program at UWRF, and later founded her own equine therapy and rehabilitation program. Her work has taken her from recreational barns to Olympic-level horses, always with a focus on easing pain and supporting health.

Join us as Sheila reflects on her professional work and on what horses have taught her through the years. It promises to be a thoughtful morning about learning, relationship, and the wisdom that can come from sharing our lives with other living beings.
