Groups Meeting in September 2024
Book: Next meeting September 22, at noon (after the service). Want to join the fun? Grab the book: Thomas R Smith’s book Poetry on the Side of Nature, An Essay with Poems and read at least through Page 12. So far the group includes 7 people: Bob & Mary E, Suzanne, Tina, Ann C, Don and Lute. Thomas R Smith is grateful that his book was chosen. He says there are copies available in Hudson at Chapter 2. He doesn’t think Fox Den has it. He also has a few copies.
Poetry: The poetry group’s next meeting will be on Sept 1st @10:30 a.m. at UU. After that, the regular schedule will be on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month after services.
Garden Update: Jens’ garden is almost at its peak. Stop by to enjoy the flowers or harvest some produce. The flowers in front of the SE building are absolutely beautiful right now!! Thank you Ann Leake for caring so lovingly for our gardens!
Committees: As we go into fall, we will be coming back together, revitalizing our committees and dreaming our future. We have 3 main committees: Administration, Connections, and Programming.
