Mar. 22 “Paying Attention to Your Life” Colin Lifshitz

Colin will be talking about how having a phrase that keeps you in the mindset you want to have in life can change the way you view and pay attention to life. Colin is a sophomore at UW-River Falls. He studies chemistry and is on the football team.

 

Mar. 29 “Lines That Matter: Painting Wisconsin’s Non-Partisan Portrait” Don Leake

Gov. Tony Evers has called lawmakers into a special session on April 14 to consider and act upon a bill relating to a constitutional amendment to ban partisan gerrymandering in Wisconsin. Don will talk about ways in which the bill could be structured and what you can do to support this effort.

Don is a founding member of UUSRF, a retired UWRF mathematics professor, and a dedicated proponent of fair legislative maps in Wisconsin.
