Apr. 13 “Tribal Climate Action” – Kelly Cain – Dr. Kelly Cain, professor emeritus UWRF Environmental Science/Management and Land-Use Planning, is the founding director of the St. Croix Institute. He assists clients with achieving sustainability through various methods. Much of his work has been with Native American tribes as they work to combat and adapt to climate change. Dr. Cain is an engaging speaker with a wealth of experience in working toward using resources sustainably and leaving less of a (carbon) footprint. “Achieving sustainability should not be our children’s responsibility…any more than failure at such should be our generation’s legacy.” Kelly Cain

Apr. 20 Easter Pancake Breakfast and Social Action Sunday – Join us in the revival of a UUSRF tradition with a pancake breakfast from 9:30-10:30 and then lend a hand to help create bird feeders and plant Small Bluestem grass from our labyrinth into pots that will be given away at the UUSRF table at Earth Fest on 4/26. Many hands will make light work.

Apr. 27 “This I Believe” Three members of the Society will share their personal beliefs on religion, spirituality and their path to UU in a format that has been part of our services for years. It’s always an interesting, varied, and enlightening service.
