Rooted in Love, Committed to Justice

At the Unitarian Universalist Society of River Falls (UUSRF), we view equity, diversity, and inclusion not just as goals, but as the lived expression of our faith. This commitment serves as the foundation of our Statement of Inclusion, providing us with a steady moral anchor even when the world around us feels adrift.

The recent tragedies and profound trauma weighing on our local community have reached into our sanctuary and our hearts. We recognize that in times of deep shadows, our UU principles serve as a beacon. When the path to understanding seems blocked, or when the distance between neighbors feels insurmountable, we look to our covenant to find a way back to one another. UUSRF exists to ensure that no one has to navigate these complexities in isolation.

Our Promise to the Community

We are steadfast in our mission to create a space where every individual is treated with inherent dignity and where authentic self-expression is met with radical welcome. Integrity demands that we be explicit: UUSRF stands in solidarity with those demanding justice, accountability, and the protection of human rights.

The Work Ahead

We hold a vision of a future built on mutual respect and peaceful coexistence. Until that vision is realized, we will remain dedicated to the essential labor of this congregation:

  • Wrestling with difficult truths.
  • Nurturing the bonds of our local fellowship.
  • Centering love as a force for social change.
