the World through the Eyes of Dementia; Seminar
Gain insight and a better understanding of dementia through virtual reality. Join Jenny West, Caregiving and Aging Community Educator with Family Means, for a Virtual reality (VR) experience that shows you what it’s like to have dementia. Designed for caregivers, this presentation helps you develop empathy and learn skills to enhance future interactions. Memory Cafe events provide safe, comfortable, and engaging environment for those with memory loss and their caregivers. It is a place where guests can laugh, learn, and remain socially engaged with others traveling the same journey.
Memory Cafe events feature speakers, educational offerings, and special activities.
