A Note From Our President, Alison Page – The future belongs to our children For those of you who have been a part of UUSRF in the past, you may remember a time when UUSRF had a vibrant religious education program for children. Due to many factors, we have not had a program in recent years. This year we plan to re-launch a Spiritual Education Program. Unitarian religious education for children focuses on nurturing ethical, social development, and spiritual exploration within a supportive community. Programs in UU spiritual education emphasize building resilience, encouraging children to connect with their own sense of purpose, and fostering respect for themselves and others. UUs believe that religious learning is a lifelong journey, and children’s programs play a vital role in shaping their understanding of Unitarian Universalist principles and values. If this sounds like something you would be interested in participating in, please contact Alison directly at 715-821-8820. |
![]() What’s Up in the UUSRF Labyrinth – Bee Balm is in bloom. The Prairie Dock flower stalk is reaching for the sky. Could be taller than you. The sunflowers in the garden are giving them magnificent competition. Check them out. |
Jens’ Garden Update – The garden is producing cilantro, dill, parsley, mint, sugar snap peas and zucchini. Purslane, pigweed and lamb’s quarters are out of control. Feel free to pick produce and uproot some of the less preferred plants. Did you miss a Sunday Service? Thanks to Jonathan Nelson, our tech abilities have been upgraded.
